  • Ann Beaudin, DVM

    Ann Beaudin, DVM

Dr. Beaudin earned a B.S. in animal science at Cook College, Rutgers University and then attended veterinary school at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 1990. After spending a year practicing large and small animal medicine and surgery in a private practice in Pennsylvania, she moved to western Maryland and practiced with Dr. Bradley for several years. In 1994, they decided to build a hospital of their own where they could practice the high quality companion medicine and surgery they had come to love.

In July of 1995, Antrim Veterinary Hospital was "born". Although Dr. Beaudin enjoyed the birth process (Drs. Bradley and Beaudin did all of the interior work, including dry wall and electrical work), she feels much more comfortable with a scalpel in her hand versus a chop saw. Her vision for the hospital is to promote wellness programs and preventative medicine and thus avoid many of the illnesses and disease processes that are so commonplace in companion animals.

Dr. Beaudin is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maryland VMA, the Greater Baltimore VMA, and the Heartworm Society. She has had additional training in dental radiography, oral surgery and surgical extractions. Currently her free time is spent with her husband, Dr. Bradley and their two children or catering to her passion -- planting and tending to the landscaping at the hospital and at her home.

    Jessica, Assistant

Jessica has been with us since August of 2008. She has wanted to be apart of an animal field her whole life. She started when she was 3 years old by riding horses, then became a big participant in the Howard County 4-H, where she showed horses, dogs and cattle. She would go to work with her mother, a veterinary technician, and her step father, a veterinarian, when she was not in school. When she started attending high school she worked part time at a local kennel. She also helps out at the Carroll County rabies clinics twice a year. When she is not working she spends time with her husband Jonathan and their "kid", "Zeb" (a Puggle). In her spare time she likes to paint pottery and spend quality time with her loving family.
