At Antrim Veterinary Hospital, the doctors and staff have prided themselves on providing complete, high-quality care for dogs and cats in Taneytown since 1995.
Antrim Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to keeping pets happy, healthy and safe.
A Sincere Thank You from Antrim Veterinary Hospital
In 1995 we moved to Taneytown and purchased an empty lot with the dream of building a veterinary hospital. When we officially opened our doors on July 5th of that year, we had no clients and only one employee. It has been so fulfilling to watch our business grow but we never could have anticipated that so many of you, our “clients”, would become dear friends, or in all reality, an extended family.
Over the past 30 years we have been overwhelmed by the support that you have given us. You have shared the emotional roller coaster that is life with us. You were there for the first 2 years that we lived in the clinic, joking about how wonderful the hospital smelled when Myron was cooking dinner while I was seeing the last appointments. When the medical portion of the appointment was completed, we always looked forward to just talking about your families, bringing you up to date on ours and just being there for each other.
As many of you know, we truly built this place with our bare hands, all except for the shell and HVAC. My father was finishing up some of the carpentry work during the first few weeks we were open and he commented that he didn’t realize how much of our job was to interact with people and he wished his personal physician spent that much time with him. We just thought this is the way it is supposed to be and could not be more grateful to you for allowing us to share our lives with you.
We feel truly honored to have been able to care for your four-legged family members, often from that first exciting puppy or kitten visit to the final farewell. They have taught us so much; mainly how to approach life with the goofy enthusiasm of a Golden Retriever puppy and that even the worse day of your life can be made better by the comforting nudge of a wet nose.
So, it is with mixed emotions that we announce our retirement at the end of May. We are saddened by the thought that we will not be updated on your family’s achievements or be able to watch your pets grow, but we are comforted by the knowledge that you will be in very capable hands. We are joining with Airpark Animal Hospital which embraces the same level of care and high-quality medicine that you have come to expect and that your animals deserve. The hospital will retain its identity as Antrim Veterinary Hospital but the new owners will be able to offer extended hours and days in the future as well as offer additional services to better meet your needs.
You will be happy to hear that Nicole is staying on and we all know she is the real force that keeps everything running smoothly! All records will be available at both hospitals allowing you to choose which location suits you best. We will be available to make the transition as easy as possible. Look for an introductory letter from the management at Airpark that will go into more details.
Thank you all for helping us to achieve our dream and allowing us to spend the last 30 years doing what we love.
Sincerely,
Ann Beaudin, DVM
Myron Bradley, DVM
Two Hospitals. One Mission- Your Pet's Health
Dear Airpark and Antrim Veterinary Families,
We’re thrilled to announce that effective June 9th, 2025 the ownership team of Airpark Animal Hospital is joining practices with Antrim Veterinary Hospital as Drs. Ann and Myron begin a well‑earned retirement. They built a wonderful legacy of compassionate care, and they will remain involved behind the scenes during the transition to ensure every detail is handled smoothly.
How this benefits every client—no matter where you’ve been visiting
-
Seamless access to two convenient, fully equipped locations (Westminster and Taneytown) with flexible scheduling and shorter wait times.
-
Unified medical records—your pet’s history is securely integrated into one system, so any doctor at either hospital can pick up where the last visit left off.
-
Expanded services close to home: affordable preventative care, urgent care, fully equipped in-house laboratories, advanced diagnostics, ultrasound, dentistry, and broadly capable surgeons are available today.
-
Consistent philosophy of care grounded in integrity, high quality, accountability, compassion, and teamwork—the same core values that guide both practices today.
For clients who have seen Drs. Ann or Myron
Starting with your next appointment, your pet’s primary‑care veterinarian will be one of our experienced doctors. We will review medical records with Drs. Ann and Myron to make the hand‑off seamless. You’ll still see the familiar Antrim staff members you know and trust.
Proudly independent—and proudly local
Unlike many practices in the area, we are not part of a large corporate chain. Both Airpark and Antrim are independently owned by veterinarians who live, work, and raise families right here in Carroll County. Every decision we make will continue to be driven by what’s best for our patients, clients, staff, and community.
Thank you for the trust you place in us. We’re honored to continue caring for your pets and look forward to many happy, healthy years together.
Warm Regards,
Ben Kable, DVM
