Nicole, Veterinary Assistant 

 

Nicole began working with us as a part of her internship for high school in August of 2009, and became part of our staff a few months later. She has always loved animals since she was a little girl. She would love when her pets had to go to their vet appointments, because that meant she would get to tag along with her dad and observe the technicians and doctors. In high school she took all veterinary classes available. When not working she spends time with her husband John and daughter Paisley, as well as her crazy dog Colt her six cats Jewels, Cali, Mac, Tucker, Dozer, and Moe Moe. She also enjoys spending time outdoor, soaking up the sun! 

Shelby, Veterinary Assistant 

 

Shelby has been working at Antrim Veterinary Hospital since July of 2012. She attended and completed the veterinary assistant program at Carroll Community College. She has always loved pets since she was a little girl, giving all the neighborhood pets "check up's" while pretending to be a veterinarian. Shelby enjoys comforting the animals. When not working she enjoys spending time with her son, Guy, her husband, Chris, and their precious dogs, Bingo and Kimber along with their cat, Diffy. Shelby also enjoys spending her time fishing with her family.

Amy, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Amy came to us as an intern from YTI Career Institute in July 2016 and was then hired in October. She later graduated in November of that same year. Amy grew up loving animals both big and small. She has a soft spot for pocket pets, especially rabbits. When not working one of her two jobs she enjoys playing piano, taking care of her bunnies, Love Bug and Peter, being crafty and spending time with her family and boyfriend, Devyn. She strongly believes in rescuing animals which brought her to her cat, Crash Bandicoot, who was found injured. Amy loves the bond we are able to share with our furry companions.  

Shanae, Veterinary Assistant

Shanae has been working with us since November 2017 after completing the veterinary assistant program at Animal Behavior College. She has a profound love for black cats and enjoys spending quality time with her feline friends Toby, Marie, Zero and Pumpkin Spice all of which were rescues. When not working she enjoys going to concerts, going to the beach and spending time with her family. 

Emily, Veterinary Assistant 

Emily has been working with us since November 2018. She took the Veterinary Technician program at  YTI Career Institute and graduated in 2016. She grew up around horses, riding horses and working on the farm She had many pets growing up including two Greyhounds. She spends her free time with her boyfriend, Richie, their Pitbull ,Theodora, and their two cats, Kratos and Opie. She enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, and loves to ride four wheelers in the mountains of West Virginia.
